This free Homestuck OC maker works as a Homestuck troll maker and kid maker that does the drawing for you. Pick a troll, a kid, a sprite or a carapacian, choose a blood color on the hemospectrum, horns and a classpect, write a typing quirk, and get your OC in the Homestuck webcomic style.

Ideas
Stuck on a blood color? Load one of these Homestuck OCs, from fantrolls to a kid and a sprite, into the Homestuck OC creator, then swap the horns, the classpect or the typing quirk until the character feels like yours.

Know the rules
Blood color decides where a troll stands on Alternia, and the classpect decides what they do once the game starts. Pick one of each and the rest of the OC falls into place.

The alien species of Alternia, introduced in the fifth act. Trolls have grey skin, black hair and lips, yellow eyes and candy-corn horns, and each one is raised by a lusus, a custodian beast. Young trolls in the comic have a six-letter first name and a six-letter last name, like Karkat Vantas.
Troll society is a caste system ranked by blood color: rust at the bottom, then bronze, gold, lime, olive, jade, teal, cerulean, indigo, purple, violet and fuchsia at the top. Low castes are the most likely to have psychic powers, high castes live far longer, and violet and fuchsia bloods are sea dwellers with fins on the sides of their faces.
Every troll wears a sign on their clothes in their own blood color. The comic's twelve trolls each use one of the twelve Western zodiac glyphs, and the Extended Zodiac from 2017 adds 24 signs per caste, built from blood color, dream moon and aspect. Give your OC an original shape and describe it in Extra details.
Trolls chat with a typing quirk that gives them away in one line: Aradia types 0 for o, Vriska puts 8 in place of b, and Karkat types in all caps. A quirk often hints at the sign, the lusus or the mood, and many trolls also type in their blood color.
Every Sburb player gets a title made of a class and an aspect: John Egbert is the Heir of Breath, Vriska Serket the Thief of Light. There are twelve classes, twelve aspects and two rare master classes, Lord and Muse. A player who reaches god tier gets a hooded outfit cut by their class and colored by their aspect.

The human players. The story opens in 2009 on John Egbert's thirteenth birthday, when he gets a beta copy of the game Sburb and his friends Rose, Dave and Jade join him in it. A kid OC needs a hobby, a favorite weapon and a reason to play.
Every Sburb player releases a kernelsprite during setup, and whatever gets prototyped into it shapes the sprite's look and voice. Once it hatches it floats around as a ghostly guide with a tail instead of legs, so a sprite OC is defined by what went into it.

The chess-piece people of the two dream kingdoms: white carapacians live on golden Prospit, black ones on violet Derse, and their armies fight a war shaped like a game of chess. They range from small pawns to tall queens, which suits a soldier, a mail carrier or a royal OC.
Names and quirks
Young trolls in Homestuck have a six-letter first name and a six-letter last name, and fans recognize them by how they type. Mix a name, then pick a typing quirk. Every click goes straight onto your OC in the generator.

Guide
Most fans who create a Homestuck character start with a troll, so these five steps show how to make a Homestuck troll from blood color to typing quirk. The Homestuck OC maker handles the drawing; these choices are worth making first.
Blood color decides where your troll stands on Alternia, how long they live and which powers fit. A mid-spectrum olive or jade blood is easy to write; fuchsia, a caste of only two trolls, and mutant candy red are the hardest to justify.
Young trolls in the comic have a six-letter first name and a six-letter last name, usually a little hard to pronounce. Use the name mixer below or count the letters yourself, then check the result against the canon trolls before you post.
Horns are the silhouette fans read first, so pick one clear shape. The sign goes on the shirt in the blood color; build it from simple parts like a crescent, a ring or a few lines instead of copying one of the zodiac glyphs from the comic.
Pick the aspect that matches what your troll cares about, then the class that decides how they use it. Check the title against canon players (John is the Heir of Breath, Vriska the Thief of Light) and leave Lord and Muse alone unless the story needs them.
A good quirk ties back to the troll, like a curled tail for a playful one or a wrench for a mechanic, and stays readable after a full paragraph. Skip the famous ones (0 for o, 8 for b, all caps) and keep it to one or two rules.
