This Splatoon OC creator helps you turn a fresh character idea into art. Choose an Inkling or Octoling, pair a weapon class with gear and abilities, and describe the tentacle hairstyle that makes the design yours. The Splatoon character creator draws a new image from your choices rather than arranging a fixed set of stickers.

Ideas
Each idea has a weapon, a look and a reason to enter the arena. Tap one to load its details, then swap the class or ink color. An inkling OC can be a cautious defender, while an octoling OC can be the loudest teammate on a Salmon Run shift.

Art styles
Prism Current keeps the same coral looped tentacles, violet undersides, yellow rain jacket and cobalt shoes in every image. Compare glossy 3D, anime, chibi, painted and pencil views, then ask for a three-view reference sheet of your own Splatoon OC.

Know the rules
Species sets the tentacle silhouette. A main weapon sets how the OC moves through a match, while headgear, clothing, shoes and abilities suggest a play style. Nintendo lists eleven Splatoon 3 main weapon classes; these six picture choices are a quick starting lineup.

Shooters fire a steady stream of ink and suit an all-rounder who paints lanes for the team. A design can echo that dependable role with compact gear, tidy pockets and a stance that faces the next corner. Make the weapon a piece of playful sports equipment, not a real firearm.

Rollers coat ground with a wide sweep and can fling ink when swung. A roller OC might wear shoes with thick soles and a jacket they do not mind splashing. Prism Current uses the painted path as a route back to friends, which says more about her than a victory pose would.

Chargers hold a charge to fire farther. Give a charger user a reason to watch the map: perhaps they repair lights, sketch rooftops or notice overlooked exits. Their gear can look light and practical so the long silhouette of the charger stays readable.

Dualies are paired ink weapons with a dodge roll. Build the outfit around motion, with flexible sleeves and sturdy sneakers. The strongest drawing captures an ink trail or a quick turn, and still shows the two matching sprayers clearly.

Brushes can cover ground while moving fast. A brush user can be a messenger, a Salmon Run teammate clearing a route or a muralist whose broad strokes show up from across the plaza. Choose a distinctive bristle shape and keep the costume free of real labels.

Splatanas send slashes of ink from a wiper-shaped weapon. The class arrived with Splatoon 3 beside Stringers. A Splatana OC can emphasize rhythm and clean arcs rather than menace, so the result stays playful and rooted in the game world.
Names and moves
Try the local Splatoon name generator for a stage nickname, then pick a move. The mixer changes the name field immediately; the move cards fill the Signature move field. If a nickname sounds too close to a canon idol or shopkeeper, roll again and use a detail from your own design.

Guide
A readable Splatoon design starts with silhouette and play style. Make a splatoon character that looks fresh at thumbnail size, then add the tiny gear details that reward a closer look.
Nintendo describes Inklings as squid-like and Octolings as octopus-like, both able to shift between humanoid and swim forms. Choose one, then sketch a tentacle silhouette that is not a default player hairstyle. A loop, crown braid or off-center knot makes your OC recognizable before you add color.
Shooters paint steady lanes, rollers cover broad ground, chargers hold distance, and dualies dodge. Splatoon 3 also includes blasters, brushes, sloshers, splatlings, brellas, stringers and splatanas. Pick the class your character would actually enjoy using, then explain one habit the class gave them.
Headgear, clothing and shoes are the three gear slots. Each item can carry abilities, including Swim Speed Up, Run Speed Up, Ink Saver Main and Intensify Action. Start with one main outfit color, add an ink color that separates from it, and describe one ability that fits the OC rather than stacking every bonus.
Turf War asks two teams of four to cover ground. Salmon Run is cooperative, while Splatoon 3 Splatfests invite a choice among three teams. A team gives the character a role, but a rooftop hobby, repair job or handmade badge collection makes them feel like someone who lives in Splatsville.
Look at the hair shape, weapon outline and shoe size together. Remove official logos and any outfit that copies a named character. Use the sample card for a full-body image, Avatar for a splatoon pfp maker result, or Ref sheet to compare the design from several angles.
